Welcome to the NSCBL


  • Founded in 2005, the NSCBL is located in Minneapolis/St Paul metro area, Minnesota With Over 300 Players Ages 35 to 60+ from Alexandria to Miesville
  • Members in our league participate in the Roy Hobbs Torunament which includes 325 Leagues & Over 45,000 Players Across the Country.
  • For the 2013 Season, the NSCBL consists of 17 teams
  • Complete Teams or Individual Players Are Welcome From the Recreational Player to Ex-college and Former Pro Players. Just click on “How To Join” to get more information.
  • Our League Schedule Runs From Late May to September. Games Are 7 Innings with Most Games Played on Fridays and Sundays.
  • No Games Are Scheduled on Holiday Weekends.
  • Season Includes 16 to 20 Regular Season Games Plus a end of season Multi-Week Tournament Format.

NSCBL Crowns New 'AA' Champions
The Burnsville Bulldogs defeated the two-time defending state champion Cold Spring Silver Springer’s 4 –1 to capture the NSCBL “AA” 35 and older amateur baseball championship at Arnold Klaers Field in Loretto. Brett Gadient pitched a commanding complete game giving up only 3 hits while striking out 7 and walking 2. Jay Tauer led the Bulldogs with 3 hits and an RBI, Darryl Grover started the scoring with a 2-run double in the second inning. The Bulldogs, who were defeated by the Silver Springers by a score of 4-2 in Saturday’s winner’s bracket game, had to defeat the Minnetonka Lakers earlier in the day for a rematch of last year’s championship. Josh Loewen was the winning pitcher over the Minnetonka squad giving up 1-run on 5 hits while strucking out 6 in a complete game ... more
